Rose has been battling injuries for the last 4 seasons, as he would have 3 severe knee injuries, and an orbital fracture which was his latest injury.  After coming back from the orbital fracture this past season, Rose would have an average season compared to his standards.  He would finish the year with 16.4 PPG and 4.7 APG, shooting 42.7% from the field.
