The Chicago Bulls have reportedly agreed to a trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves to trade Jimmy Butler and their 16th pick in tonight’s draft for Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn, and their 7th pick in tonight’s draft, first reported by K.C. Johnson.
Brian Windhorst of ESPN later went on to confirm the deal, and ESPN confirmed the report during the NBA Draft coverage.
This trade will reunite Jimmy Butler with the former head coach in Chicago Tom Thibodeau, and surround Butler with Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins, and Ricky Rubio.
