Bledsoe Holding His Own
Questions have always surrounded Bucks point guard Eric Bledsoe. He has been seen as an enigma throughout his entire career. Entering his second full season with Milwaukee, this year will be a test to see if the money spent is well deserved. So far, he has done just that. The first several games raised the same questions, but the past several have been a completely different story.

In the past seven games, Bledsoe has averaged 21.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 5.8 assists in just 27 minutes per game. No time has been needed more from the PG as the Bucks will be missing All-Star Khris Middleton for roughly three weeks with a thigh contusion. It was clearly seen in the game against the Bulls that without Middleton on the floor, others must rise to the occasion along with Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Bucks Building Blocks
It is no secret the that Bucks have been dealing with growing pains since moving on from Malcolm Brogdon. The defensive awareness needed to be built back up and Bledsoe has had no problem stepping into that role. That was never the concern though, offensively is where the fans worry. It is not to be expected that Bledsoe scores over 20 every game, but to be a reliable offensive force is a breath of fresh air to Milwaukee.
The next few weeks will give Eric Bledsoe the time and space to show the damage the Bucks signed his extension for. There is a now-or-never mentality within the organization. They’re trying to put the pieces together to escalate the Bucks to the NBA Finals. It’s easy to see that Bledsoe does not need to be told of his past woes. With the way his game has been played the past two weeks, it is time to sit back and enjoy the Bledshow.
