Manu Ginobili isn’t ready to hang it up just yet. The San Antonio Spurs have agreed to a deal with the veteran guard, bringing him back for his 16th and likely final year in the NBA. The details of the deal are still being finalized.

After being bounced in the Western Conference Finals last season and struggling to play well consistently, most people believed that Ginobili would call it a career. Ginobili only managed to shoot 39 percent from the field and failed to positively impact games on a consistent basis. However, when he played well, he managed to help the Spurs win basketball games.

Ginobili, who was drafted by the Spurs with the 57th pick in the 1999 draft,  has made his mark in NBA History, winning 4 NBA championships, being named a three-time NBA All-Star, and winning the 2008 Sixth Man of The Year award. He was also a member of the 2004 Gold Medal Argentinian Basketball Team.

Ginobili will be 40 years old next season and has spent his entire career with the San Antonio Spurs.
