Kawhi Leonard had a great season, as he finally made the leap from “promising future superstar” to “terrifyingly good current superstar.” And in recognition of his great season, which featured him leading a historically good Spurs team, the NBA awarded him the Defensive Player of the Year Award for the second straight season.
